“Playing with a queen of hearts, knowing it ain’t really smart… The joker ain’t the only fool, who’ll do anything for you…” Nananaaaa… I’m listening to Juice Newton’s song. Amazing... Some friendships are so sweet and taste like honey that neither time nor distance can conquer them. This is one. Yesterday I went out on my lunch break to see my cute nephew, baby Leko. I say nephew because Leko better grow up and call me Aunt Diana! Leko is Nicole’s 6 weeks old baby boy and he is so handsomeJ)) I had fun carrying him especially when he pulled my hair! I even gave him his syrup medicine, it’s a skill no kidding!

Nicole would my bad girls club house mate that’s if we ever had a Kenyan edition! We are the good kind of bad girls. Work hard, play hard and enjoy life. I have such good memories and fun times with my girl Nicole that I wouldn’t even know where to start. The Zappa and Sambuca shots we would take in the evenings before catwalk rehearsals that would go on for hours. How we’d get in trouble and cover up. How we’d stand by each other through bad relationships and good ones. Speaking of good ones, I went with Charlie to Nicole’s family restaurant launch and boy did we have a good time or what. I recall Charlie meeting Nicole’s dad and saying, “Hi, I’m Charlie” and Nicole’s dad said, “I’m Charles…” He he he...

Mummy and Baby!

Nicole… The nights we’d get drunk and I would be too tired to catch a cab home and my dad would call me a couple of times and I knew I was in trouble because I spent the night out without permission. He knew I was getting wasted but that is the joy of late teens. I have enjoyed my youth, made quick money from being a sales representative for beauty products, a hostess for event launches and shows and runway model for fashion shows. We did all those together and our agent Lyndsey from Surazuri has always known that we work well together. She is a special friend who I love so much for being real and Crazy. I’m so happy for her and her beau Allan for having baby Leko. I’m a proud aunt now. J Can’t wait for when they need me to baby sit J
