1. Do you do your own manicure/pedicure or do you go to a salon?

Both, I do my own manicure but for pedicures I go to the nails bar – Coco Belle, the best in Nairobi.

2. How often do you change your nail polish?

Just about every week

3. How long does it take you to put on your makeup?

It depends on the occasion. For every day makeup- 5-10 minutes; for going out with friends- 10-20 minutes; for special occasions- could take up to half an hour.

4.  What do you first, face or eyes?

Usually my face but I have done eyes first also. 

5. Do you “collect” makeup or do you buy it just when you need it?

Oh I definitely collect makeup. Once I ran out foundation and frantically called Suzie Wokabi of SuzieBeauty then rushed to Mimosa Pharmacy to get it but that will never happen again!

6. How often do you wear false lashes?

Almost never... I only really wear them on photo shoots and during pageants. 

7. Do you do a full face of makeup every day?

No way. LOL! I am way too lazy for that. 

8. Do you wear makeup when you are home alone or with your family?

I don’t wash my makeup off the second I get home so I will leave my makeup on while I am home alone. I hardly wear any make up when hanging out with close friends or family.

9. Will you leave the house without makeup?

Usually yes, but if I am really broken out then I will at least put on some loose powder over the moisturizer. 

10. How often do you wash your makeup brushes?

Not often enough times.

If only I could use this daily to clean my make up brushes....

11. Do you plan your OOTD the night before or while you are getting dressed?

Both, it really just depends on what the occasion is. For work I figure it out as I go along but for special occasion I usually have an OOTD planned days in advance.

12. How often do you change your handbag?

 Pretty frequently…

13. What time do you get up and go to sleep?

I get up between 6.30 – 07.00am every day, I live 20 minutes away from my work place so there is enough time to get to work. I go to sleep anywhere from 10.00pm – 01.00am. Just depends on how many assignments I have and what’s on TV.

14. How often or when do you work out?

Every other time I feel like I have gained a kilo or 2. I don’t kid with a few kilos; I manage them!

15. Left or right handed?

Right handed

16. How tall are you?

5’7 ½”

17. Do you speak a foreign language?

I am going to take French in college. * Bloop! *

18. How many pets do you have?

I am adopting a female cat

19.How often are you on instagram?

Twice or thrice a day…

20. Do you read the comments posted on blogs?

Sometimes. If the blog post is interesting I get curious to see what readers had to say on the comment form.

21. How did you come up with the name Simbaress?

It came up from somewhere in my mind during a photo shoot at the coast. I was posing on my knees and felt like a lioness but because of the heat and the nerves (I’m always excited during shoots) I said I felt like a simba – ress… And the name stuck! So I rushed to reserve and register it…

22. What kind of camera do you use to take pictures?

Right now just my iPhone 4 but I am supposed to be getting a camera for Christmas!

23. What’s your favorite color(s)?

BLUE & YELLOW!

24. What beauty product would you bet no one knows you use

Face primer. I don't use it as often but even when I do, I do not wear a lot of make up to have the primer hold it all day/night. It's my secret...

I love this primer...

25. What are you doing with the rest of your day?

Well, I will be spending most of my day writing, editing, and posting blog posts for the blog, I need to get 2 hours to do my assignment then get back online to research on a new job coming up…
