I cheated myself the other day. I actually let myself believe that someone is coming from a selfless place. Ha. Lies Diana! All Lies…

Now there is nothing wrong with being a little self-centered in a situation. A colleague of mine once told me that human being are all animals and that the rules of the jungle applies. He added that the moment you expect anything else, then you begin to deceive yourself and boy oh boy wasn’t he right or what? And yet I have to remind myself that it’s all OK and normal.

So this post is of something I rarely do, throw shade to myself in my high self-righteous horse heading straight up to the power tower where nothing or no one will stop me. Oh men, the things I like to tell myself when I’m high on hormones…
