Vanity is only good in a controlled dose...

"I am as vain as I allow..." Lyricists have a tough job. To use simple words and create catch phrases that are sang by our favourite artists making all the listeners relate to the emotional tales in the songs... Now that's not an easy task.

This takes me back to my days of script writing when my initial assumption was that scripting a documentary or a feature story comprises of complex jargon! When a seasoned editor reviewed that script, he simply asked me to strip off the complex jargon and write my narration as if it was to be read by a child. When I did, the story flowed and it all became so simple. After many hours of researching, one tends to write with the assumption that the reader/listener is aware of the information one has...

Back to Lady Gaga's song  "I'm so happy I could die" It's all mind games to me when one professes positive vibes and happiness songs. When you profess it, you believe it & your soul believes it and you become it. Get it?
