BOOKS-SWEPT
Hello readers, I am a random-paced reader of many books, journals,
magazines and publications so I will not claim to be a strategic or disciplined
one, but every now and then a few of them get to tickle my laugh-spots; and
those are the ones that get me reading nonstop; to the point where my eyes go
dry and they start twitching…. The billionaire’s plaything is one of them.
I cannot recall exactly how I ended up purchasing this book.
Maybe it was one of the recommendations after I purchased Ava Stones’ scandalous series to which I have barely finished “A
Scandalous Wife” and I can’t wait to begin reading the second one; “The English Lieutenant's
Lady” I must say that I am a sucker for romantic novels and especially the ones with
good humour and intense suspense. I just get drawn into the world of fantasy and
I get to create characters that look however I want them to look like although
guided by the description of the author... And have them act at my thoughts wishes. Time stops and I become the director of the production with a script in my hand, delivering nothing short of a Steven Spielberg directed movie. ***Chuckles***
I think that some day I will write a book. And I'll share some of
the vivid imaginations and dreams I have had just to have both young and old
readers enjoy my fiction. One other book that got me on the edge of my seat,
even though it had dark humour, is “After all these years” This one recounts
the tale of a married woman, who after nearly 2/3** decades of marriage, her husband
walked out on her with a younger lady. Twists and turns to the cliché tales
lead you in to a sad ending yet very enlightening journey of their lives.
As if it’s not enough to be struggling through one novel on
my tablet, I do not wish to finish reading another one called “Ghana Must Go”
Maybe I have a problem… The book is written with such elegance and ease that I
will be holding on to this copy for years to come!
What novels are you currently reading? Are you having
withdrawal issues like me? You only get to the end when the suspense is
impossible to stop you from reading and for the slow elegant one, you hold on
to the story until you cannot hold on any longer?
Now can the authors publish part 2 of the Billionaire’s Plaything
PLEASE! I'm definitely book swept.
Sincerely,
Nekoye
