SILENCE CONTINUES
I choose to be quiet and for all the attention I am getting, I am certain that It's loud enough. But silence could mean anything. It may confuse some to think that it is a sign of weakness, others may think it means that it’s an agreement that one can’t tell any more than they have, even the wise men have thought it means consent and that it is golden. Others use silence for contempt. Total annihilation. Silence can also be a physical or spiritual state and indices both meaning and loss.
A silent record by a British Legion reflects the immense power silence can wield. |
Perhaps you use silence in meditation. Try not to be afraid
of silence. You learn more with being quiet. You take in more, and listen more.
I use silence when I am in the best position in a situation. It symbolizes that
I have moved on. To me it means peace in mind and at heart. It can be challenged
a little but it is too strong to be cracked with mere words, or a verbal
warfare. It’s a “Woe unto you…” and not “War into you…” situation. Silence actually requires more effort than words. It takes discipline and requires concentration. It can make a big, small and vice versa.
Silence can be absence of communication. It refers to one party
distancing themselves from another. It’s a trademark and no matter how much you
attempt to get a response, when the silent party is at peace, nothing said or
done will bring you their audience. Move on with the knowledge that they didn’t
have what it took to make you happy or be with you. Or maybe remember the fact
that change is inevitable.
Silence can also mean anger or hostility. When deliberately
executed, it can be very offensive. If it is well timed, it can give you power.
The right to silence is a legal protection to people and entities. This too can
be deliberate.
Silence is omission of mention. It’s like you do not exist
in their space. Silence is oblivion. Silence is empowering because it means
inner stillness. No one can shake that unless you permit him or her to. So my
dear love muffins, do not engage in verbal communication when silence has all
the peace and calm that you need. Silence is also secrecy because no matter how
much the other party tries to know what is on your mind, they cannot. You OWN
your thoughts, you PROTECT your words and you MAINTAIN your character.
A tort for silence,
Nekoye
