BRINGING BACK BLISS

A day of research at work- Reality Show

It's always lovely to wake up to an action packed day. Today is one of those days. I am working on producing a reality show featuring two of my close friends. Like any official project, most of the work relies on the planning phase of it, thus vast research must be done. 

One might think that it is easy being a film and media producer but it really isn't. We have many stages in filming; pre production, production and post production. My colleagues in this field will agree with me that the pre production phase can be a nightmare at times, but I hope that this will not be the case for me this time. It's only day one and I must nurture positive thoughts.

My close friends Alex and Lizz have invited me to join them in the Mnet Africa Magic Entertainment show at Fairmont, The Norfolk Hotel. My side hustle is Simbaress Fashions - a fashion line a design and work with seamstresses to bring my designs to life. I will dress Lizz and such moments bring back bliss to my life. I've been out of the game for while because I needed the break. Now, the East African fashion designer is back!!! 

For Simbaress Fashions, I am just putting together the first collection for the year and yet I'm already thinking of a second collection that should be a collaboration of effort, talent and vision with another great creative mind. I took a break to quickly write this but I have to head back to work now. Tell me what's happening on your end? Would love to read your comments.
