GIRL FRIENDS (Part 5)

Sandra is always good fun!

I knew I was coming to Kampala but I was too pre-occupied with pre-production of the two video shoots that I forgot to call up my girl Sandra, one of the 24 Face of Africa girls, to let her know that I’ll be in her working in her town for a couple of days. I liked Sandra a lot and she left the face of Africa competition too soon. Hooking up with her now I understand that she was going through some stuff and had a lot on her plate that time.

Anyway, I called her up and even though she had a surgery to go on Friday, she came and picked me up from my hotel and took me for a wonderful sun-downer at La Petite. It was amazing and once again, my girlfriend had to hold back tears trying not to break down at the restaurant after I told her what happened that fateful night. Some people assume that I would not want to talk about it; I actually appreciate when one wants to hear the facts and not what the press had to say. I keep it short, straight and clear. Sadly awaiting for justice to be served and missing my tall charming love. Because friendships are priceless to me, I hope to show Sandra a good time when she visits my country.
